The
desire to create SPAIN TASTE in order

and obvious thing to do, having met young chefs who
came across as being so passionate about their art of
preparing, cooking and serving the most wonderful food.
Spain

gastronomy. The avant garde of this new wave

Located
20 minutes from Girona and an hour and a half from Barcelona,
El Raco de Madremanya is a delightful seven roomed inn
in a magnificent stone farmhouse, dating from the Eighteenth
century, that has been completely restored.

Some
of the rooms have balconies and all are are decorated
simply but stylishly, each room having a colour theme.
There are several lounges with fireplaces throughout
the house, and a wonderful garden complete with swimming
pool. The owners have preserved the authenticity of
the building, with its stone walls and domed roofs but
they have added cosy, comfortable spaces that add warmth
and comfort.
