The cookery school of Oasi Olimpia, called La cucina del Gusto, enables you to experience real Italian cuisine and at the same time discover the many attractions of the rich Sorrento Peninsula.

Oasi Olimpia has been specialising in culinary vacation since 2002 and today is considered the best Amalfi Coast and Sorrento cooking school.

The school's culinary packages are composed of either four or six nights, however the Hotel is more than happy should you wish (on request) to organise culinary lessons on a daily basis or packages with combined excursions and guided tours.

The school is open all year and is notable for its use of only organic ingredients, prevalently from the estate's surrounding garden. Our students may participate in picking and collecting the vegetables and have the certainty of always utilising and eating 100% natural ingredients.

In our school you will not simply be a spectator but a hands on protagonist actively making pasta, pizza and other typical dishes of the Coast.

After the lesson, you will be proud to sit at your table and enjoy the dishes you have prepared with your very own hands!

Our chef Carmen

Your teacher at our culinary school will be our Chef, Carmen, who has been a passionate cook since the age of fourteen, when she would spend a large part of her time in the kitchen with her mother.

Her cooking school has conquered the hearts and palates of many guests, earning, above all, extraordinary consensus of excellence among American vacationers.

Her imagination and passion for Italian cuisine makes Carmen a fantastic chef.

Through her lessons, you will learn the secrets for the preparation of typical southern Italian and Sorrento dishes such as, gnocchi, stuffed Neapolitan style squid and artichokes.

Sorrento cooking courses with Chef Carmen - cooking holidays of 4 or 6 nights

The Sorrento cooking courses are held in the school kitchen which was specially designed to make your holiday a perfect culinary delight.

The kitchen is equipped with a spacious granite work surface and with every kind of kitchen tool, including an accessory set, which is assigned to each student at the start of each course.

All the dishes are made only with the freshest of ingredients and follow typical recipes that have been handed down for many generations.

The school also has a large outside veranda where everyone can enjoy taking a break during the course.

The courses are specially designed to enable you to quickly and easily learn the secrets of the various dishes, including the secrets for preparing an authentic Neapolitan pizza so that, once back home, you will be able to easily repeat the preparation of the dish and provide an amazing dinner that will astound your friends.

After the lesson, we celebrate together and eat the prepared dishes.

Sorrento boutique hotel

Situated in the park, the swimming pool area is surrounded by green vegetation and is equipped with a hydro massage, solarium equipped with comfortable recliners and a sauna.

The pool bar ensures the availability of drinks and convenient snacks to eat whilst lazing comfortably under the sun.

The Garden
The luxurious boutique hotel is situated amongst a luxuriant garden that extends over 22,000 m2, providing many corners of paradise, like the charming labyrinth, in which to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the hills of Sorrento.

The garden offers the chance to take refreshing walks amongst the diverse botanical species, including olive, pine, orange and lemon trees, wisteria and many other plants typical to the Mediterranean.

Standard rooms
The resort contains six standard rooms, simple in their style, bright, comfortable and elegant. The rooms are a large 28m2 and are all equipped with a terrace or balcony, Jacuzzi and all the comforts that you could desire during your stay in Sorrento.

Junior Suite
The highlight of the resort are the four magnificent suites (37 m2), each with a panoramic view.

Furnished with a simple yet refined and sought after style, each suite takes its name from the panoramic view which it faces: Positano, Capri, Vesuvius and Sorrento.

All suites are equipped with a bedroom area for a tranquil rest and a charming lounge area where you can relax whilst listening to music or reading a good book all in the comfort of your own room.

Penthouse

Located in the hills of Sorrento, all the vacation apartments offer privacy in a completely relaxing setting. Immersed in a completely natural ambiance, they are ideal for a family vacation, a reunion or for small groups.

All the apartments are equipped with: microwave, dish washer, toaster, American coffee machine, iron, hair dryer, laundry service available at the hotel (free if you will do it by your self).

The cottages include the use of the Hotel's swimming pool or the use of a Sister Hotel pool at O Sole Mio Hotel, located just in front of Oasi Olimpia Relais.

Entering the 35 m2 apartment, you will find an elegantly furnished room equipped with all the comforts.

The apartment is composed of a room with a wall separating the bedroom from the lounge room area. The matrimonial room includes a couch that can double as a bunk bed if required and host a total of four people.
Equipped with an ample bathroom and well equipped kitchenette, the apartment also has an external patio with pergola equipped with chairs, garden swing seat and barbecue area.

Stella apartment
This 50 m2 apartment is an ideal solution for a family or two couples.

Elegantly furnished, this apartment boast an abundant entrance, well equipped kitchenette, two bedrooms and two ample bathrooms.

Sister sea view cottages

Giulia 1 is a romantic cottage for two persons with private terrace and stunning views of the Gulf of Naples.
