The Gastronomicom Institute is an International
Culinary Academy created five years ago by professionals in
Gastronomy, French Pastries, Wine and Fine Dining Services.
All of our teachers boast many years of experience at prestigious,
high-end Gastronomic Hotel-restaurants.
Together we have channelled our knowledge
and skills to develop specialised programs consolidated by
the finest teaching methods in these four subjects.
Our programs will enable you to learn the
arts of French cooking and pastry at a one Michelin star level
(the best reference in the world for high quality hotel restaurants
or restaurants) to become an expert in French wines with many
wine tastings and weekly visits to different wine cellars,
and to master the high level of dining service that is provided
in Michelin starred restaurants all over the world.
Why choose this level of training?
Because this level will open the doors to
many jobs in your country and also abroad. Also we know from
experience that there is a serious lack of qualified people
in the Food and beverage Industry in most countries especially
in Gastronomy!
For our alumni we are currently creating
a newsletter specially designed to present the job offers
we regularly receive from a variety of countries.
To make you feel welcome during your stay
at Gastronomicom we have chosen to base the academy in the
charming city of Le Cap d’Agde, a popular tourist destination
located on the coast, 50 kilometres from Montpellier (half
an hour by train) and 120 kilometres from the Spanish border
(one hour by car).
The Mediterranean climate is very pleasant
and we generally enjoy around 300 days of sunshine annually.

GASTRONOMICOM OFFERS:
Gourmet Program (one month)
Length of the program:
4 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per week,
including 15 hours
cooking hands-on classes and 15 hours French lessons. All
weekends are free.
The Module of 4 weeks includes :
1st week: cold first dishes
2nd week: hot first dishes
3rd week: fishes with their sauces
4th week: meats with their sauces
Students work in teams to help each other and learn together.
Gastronomic Program (3 months)
Length of the program:
12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per
week, including 15 hours cookery hands-on classes and 15
hours French lessons.
All week-ends are free and you have 1
week off to visit France.
The Program is made of 3 modules of 4 weeks with the same
organisation as the Gourmet Program Module.
Students work in teams to help each other and learn together.
Full Program (3 months course + 4 months internship)
Length of the program:
12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per
week, including 15 hours cooking hands-on classes and 15
hours French lessons + 4 months Internship in a Luxury Hotel-restaurant
in France.
All weekends are free (except during the
internship) and you have 1 week off in the middle of the
course to visit France.
One Year Program
Length of the program:
12 months with a 3 months gastronomic
cooking course + a 3 months gastronomic pastry course +
6 months internship
2nd Year program: Management in Gastronomic Food and Beverage
This program consist in one year preparatory
course similar to the normal one year program + 3 months
University Management Course, 3 months cooking or pastry
or service or wines hands on classes oriented management
and 6 months internship.
For the management Diploma you have the
choice between two options:
1) cooking + pastry
2) service + wines
All our teachers
are graduated and highly qualified, with a vast experience
in the field they teach

The 3 months course includes :
- Enology
- winemaking
- knowledge of french wines:
- famous french wine regions:
languedoc roussillon, bordeaux, bourgogne, champagne,
corse/provence, vallee du rhone, jura/savoie, sud ouest,
alsace, cognac
- visit to 10 vineyards
- matching food and wine, service
- mastery tasting techniques
Full Program ( 3 months course + 4 months
internship )

12 weeks with 30 hours of lessons per
week, including 15 hours french wines classes and 15 hours
French lessons + 4 months Internship in a gastronomic Hotel-restaurant
in France.

| INTERNSHIP |
 |
For the students who choose to do the internship
and holding a student visa ( if necessary), the school will
provide a place in a gastronomic Hotel-restaurant or restaurant
in France.
The affectation of the Hotel-restaurant
will be done after several meetings and depending of the level
of technical capacity of the student.
During the internship the student will receive
an indemnnity of 400 Euros per month + full board and accomodation.
The internship begin immediatly after the
3 months course so that the students don't need any other
lodging in between.
Gastronomicom collaborate only with very
high level Hotel-restaurants in France like Relais-Chateaux,
Leading Hotels of the world and other 4 or 5 stars Luxury
Hotel restaurants with a gastronomic restaurant!

Students are accommodated in apartments
for 4 persons, with 2 bedrooms, living-room, kitchen, bathroom,
separate toilet and a terrace to sit or eat outside.
Wifi is available in the classrooms.
Cap
d'Agde and Residence Saint Loup:
This large attractive and dynamic resort
offers 14 kilometres of fine, sandy beaches, a pleasure marina
with 3,000 moorings, all water sports and other sporting activities,
an 18 hole golf course and the International Tennis Club.
You can stroll around from one quay to another on linking
footpaths.
A cycle track goes through the resort and
on towards Agde.
The Residence Club Saint Loup is situated
in a park of 4 hectares of luxuriant greenery, a naturally
preserved, spacious environment, dotted with ponds and lakes,
just 5 minutes from the harbour and beach.
There is a bus stop in front of the entrance
of the Resort which you can catch every day to Agde Railway
station if you want to visit the nearby cities.
