Braised Pork Chops with Cabbage

"I made this for one of the tailgates and it was really good. You rub it on the chicken before grilling".

Ingredients

1 cup best quality peach preserves or jam (I used Smuckers)
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 Tblsp. olive oil
1 Tblsp. plus 1 tsp. soy sauce
1 Tblsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Method

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the preserves, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, dry mustard, cayenne pepper, slat and black pepper and mix well to combine. The glaze may be made and kept refrigerated in an airtight container, up to two weeks.

Makes about 1 1/4 cups
