Split Pea Soup

Ingredients

9 cups water
2 cups dry green split peas
3 tbsp. low-salt chicken base
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. Bragg's seasoning, or dash of sea salt
1 pkg. tofu bacon slices (or low-fat ham slices), chopped

Method

Combine all the ingredients and simmer for 2 hours.

Cool and blend with a food processor or hand blender.

Serves 2
