pound fettuccini pasta
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups heavy cream
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until
al dente; drain.
sauté garlic in olive oil in a small
skillet over medium heat until golden. Set aside.
a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine
blue cheese, Parmesan and cream. Stir until
cheeses are melted and thoroughly combined.
Stir in the oil from the garlic pan (but not
the garlic pieces), the Italian seasoning and
the salt and pepper.
sauce with hot pasta and let stand 5 minutes
