and Graphic artist Martin James. Martin, who originally
comes from New Zealand, is now living with his
wife and children in Copenhagen as he is currently
principal Dancer with The Royal Danish Ballet.

so gifted it seems unfair that Martin should also
be talented in the kitchen as well but he has
agreed to share some of his recipes with us which
is great news.
1 cup cornmeal
1/2 cup sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
8 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup raisins
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon zest

together the flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, raisins,
butter and baking powder. Mix until a dough

into 1/2-inch pieces. Place on a cookie sheet
