3/4 oz fresh yeast
3 1/2 oz butter or margarine
1 1/4 dl milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 qt all-purpose white flour
5 - 6 apples, approx 1 1/2 lb
1/2 cup nut kernels
1 - 2 tbs corn starch
grated peel and juice from 1/2 - 1 lemon
sugar to taste
the yeast in a mixing bowl.
the fat, add the milk, and warm the liquid to
37ºC / 98ºF. Pour over the yeast and
