lb Elbow Macaroni or shells
3 Tl Butter
3 T Flour
2 1/2 c Half & Half
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts White Pepper
3/4 lb Cheddar cheese; grated
1/4 ts Dry mustard
1 1/4 lb Ham; diced
1/2 c Bread crumbs; dry
1/4 c Parmesan cheese, grated
Macaroni, rinse and hold aside.
roux with Butter and Flour, cook 5 minutes
half and half and seasoning to roux, heat.
Cheese to sauce, whip until smooth.
enough water with Mustard to make a paste. Add to
Macaroni, sauce and diced ham. Put in casserole dish.
Bread Crumbs and Parmesan cheese together. Sprinkle
Crumbs and Paprika over top of Macaroni.
in 350º oven for 30 minutes.
