is one of the recipes that has been provided by

my quest for recipes using Balsamic Vinegar. (You

1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups (8 oz.) cut up pitted dates
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped (or pecans)
1 cup dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
flour, baking powder and salt.
dates and nuts with the dry ingredients and
eggs, add sugar and beat well. Mix in oil and
in flour-date mixture, mixing thoroughly.
evenly in greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan.
in a 350º oven for 25 - 30 minutes.
slightly cool, cut into bars.
