1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup fresh corn kernels
1 1/2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
oven to 350ºF / 175ºC.
a skillet or frying pan, melt butter over medium
heat. Add bell pepper and sauté until
tender. Remove from heat and set aside.
a large mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking
powder, salt, oil and milk. Dough should be
sautéed peppers, corn and cheese.
spoonfuls of batter onto lightly greased cookie
for 10 to 12 minutes, until golden.
