and Graphic artist Martin James. Martin, who originally
comes from New Zealand, is now living with his
wife and children in Copenhagen as he is currently
principal Dancer with The Royal Danish Ballet.

so gifted it seems unfair that Martin should also
be talented in the kitchen as well but he has
agreed to share some of his recipes with us which
is great news.
hearty Italian-style soup is perfect on a chilly
Tablespoons Olive oil
1 medium Onion, diced
2 stalk Celery, diced
2 Carrots, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon Garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon Basil
1/4 teaspoon Rosemary
2 cups Cabbage, chopped
2 cups Tomatoes, diced
4 cups Water
4 cups Chicken broth
1 1/2 cups Pinto beans, cooked (canned)
Salt and pepper to taste
the oil in a soup pot.
the onion, celery, carrots and garlic. Cook
the herbs, cabbage, tomatoes, water and broth.
Slowly bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and
simmer for 45 minutes.
the beans and simmer for 10 minutes longer.
