Spicy Green Bean Casserole

Bill says: "In Minnesota, Cream of Mushroom Soup is the Mother of All Hotdishes. If you want to be more traditional, add crisp Onion rings. Cooking is a Creative Sport".


1 (10 1/2 ounce) can green beans, and the liquid
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon oregano (dried)
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Mix the liquid from the Green Beans and the undiluted Cream of Mushroom Soup in a 1 1/2 quart Casserole Dish, and stir until smooth.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients, stir.
  • Cover and bake in a 350°F or 180°C or Gas Mark 4 preheated oven for 35 minutes.
