Oatmeal Biscuits

Ingredients

720 gm oatmeal
200 gm flour
3 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
4 tbs castor sugar
260 gm butter
400 ml milk

Method

  • Place all dry ingredients and butter in a Robot Coupé (blender) and pulse until combined
  • Add the milk and mix for 2 - 3 minutes
  • Remove and roll out on lightly bench to 2 mm thickness
  • Cut as required
  • Place on lightly buttered and floured trays
  • Bake at 180°C for approximately 15 minutes

Chef's note:

These are very brittle in texture and need to be handled with care once cooked.
