tablespoon vegetable oil
3 pound beef boneless tip roast, trimmed of fat
2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16 ounce bag) frozen small whole onions or one
jar small onions
1/2 cup dark beer
1/4 cup flour
1 tablespoon stone-ground mustard
oil in 12 inch skillet over medium-high heat.
beef in oil for about 5 minutes or until brown on
with caraway seeds and salt.

beer around beef. Cover and cook on low heat for 6
to 8 hours.
