forefathers journey to Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan and
some of the achievements they made, particularly in
the world of professional football, for over fifty years.

1 oz sugar
3/4 pint milk
Grated rind of 1 lemon
6 oz fresh white breadcrumbs
3 egg yolks
4 - 5 tablespoons strawberry jam
oven to 350°F or Mark4.
the milk in a saucepan and add the butter, sugar and
grated lemon rind and bring to the boil.
the breadcrumbs in a bowl and pour the hot milk mixture
the egg yolks into the cooled mixture and then spread
half into a greased, ovenproof dish.
the jam, pour half of it over the mixture, add remaining
mixture and finish with a layer of jam.
for 40 - 45 minutes until set.
