"Marinating
the meat in the lemon juice adds a nice flavor and also
starts a tenderizing process. Leftover ground beef,
or cooked chicken would also work well in this this
recipe. Cooking is a Creative Sport."
Ingredients
1
cup cooked roast beef
1 cup dried pasta ( I like the flat noodles for this
recipe)
1/2 cup onion, diced
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup catsup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
Method
- Place
the beef in a shallow dish and mix with the lemon
juice.
- Cook
the pasta according to directions and drain.
- Melt
the butter with the oil in a frying pan, and sauté
the onions until transparent.
- Add
the catsup, followed by the brown sugar and salt.
- Add
the meat, cook until hot, then add the cooked noodles
and stir until coated.
