It
is many years since Hub-UK was first launched. It has
been created from recipes contributed form all over
the world, from professionals and amateurs alike. A
great many of the recipes do not have any details as
to who sent them in or from where they came. It would
be a shame not to share them with you for this reason
alone.
This
is one such recipe. If you know where it originated,
or perhaps it is even yours, let me know and I will
add the necessary credits and acknowledgements.

Ingredients
1
cup rice
1 tin chicken broth soup
1/4 lb butter or margarine
1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped
1/2 cup onions, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
1 tsp salt
1 tin beef consomme soup
Method
- Melt
butter in skillet and cook onions and celery until
translucent.
- Into
buttered casserole dish put alternate layers of rice,
onion and celery mixture, and mushrooms.
- Add
salt and a little pepper.
- Pour
the two cans of broth over the mix, cober and place
in oven at 350°F for 45 minutes or until liquid
is absorbed.
