lb Spinach, trimmed and washed
6 tbsp butter, softened
1 x salt
1 x pepper, freshly chopped
1 x nutmeg, pinch
1 x clove garlic, small
1/2 cup pine nuts
1/2 cup seeded raisins
1 x ham, smoked (optional)
spinach for about 5 minutes in a saucepan.
squeezing thoroughly to rid of as much water as possible,
chop it coarsely and put into saucepan with the softened
butter and other seasonings.
over very low heat until butter is almost absorbed.
small clove of garlic, crushed in garlic press, 1/2
cup pine nuts, 1/2 cup seeded raisins (softened 5
minutes in hot water).
and cook over very low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring
into a hot vegetable dish.
cup of chopped, smoked ham may be added if desired.
