is many years since Hub-UK was first launched. It has
been created from recipes contributed form all over
the world, from professionals and amateurs alike. A
great many of the recipes do not have any details as
to who sent them in or from where they came. It would
be a shame not to share them with you for this reason
alone.
This
is one such recipe. If you know where it originated,
or perhaps it is even yours, let me know and I will

Ingredients
4
lb boneless chuck
12 x mushrooms, cut into chunks
1 x salt and pepper
1 1/2 can beer
2 x onions, lg, thinly sliced
1 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
2 x green peppers, lg, sliced
1 tbsp prepared mustard
Method
- Salt
and pepper meat and brown lightly in heavy skillet.
- Add
onions, pepper and mushrooms and brown lightly.
- Pour
beer over all, stir in tomato sauce and mustard.
- Cover
tightly and simmer slowly for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or
until meat is tender.
