Orange Cheesecake

It
is many years since Hub-UK was first launched. It has
been created from recipes contributed form all over
the world, from professionals and amateurs alike. A
great many of the recipes do not have any details as
to who sent them in or from where they came. It would
be a shame not to share them with you for this reason
alone.
This
recipe is one such recipe. If you know where it originated,
or perhaps it is even yours, let me know and I will

Ingredients
1
cup chocolate wafer crumbs
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp butter, melted
32 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
4 large eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
2 tbsp orange flavoured liqueur
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
Method
- Combine
the chocolate wafer crumbs, cinnamon and butter and
press into the bottom of a9 inch spring-form pan.
- Bake
at 160°C for 10 minutes.
- Combine
the cream cheese and sugar, mixing until well blended.
- Add
the eggs, one at a time, mixing well each time.
- Blend
in the sour cream and vanilla extract.
- Blend
the chocolate into 3 cups of the mixture and then
add the orange flavoured liqueur and grated orange
peel to the remaining mixture.
- Pour
chocolate mixture over the crust.
- Bake
at 180°C for 30 minutes.

Reduce oven temperature to 160°C.
- Spoon
remaining mixture over the chocolate mixture and continue
baking for 30 minutes more.
- Loosen
cake from rim and cool before removing.
