Spicy Beef Tacos

Spicy Beef Tacos

Ingredients for Spicy Beef Tacos

1 tbsp rapeseed oil
400g lean beef mince
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 green pepper, finely chopped
5 tbsp HP Guinness sauce
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
400g can chopped tomatoes
1 very low salt beef stock cube
¾ tsp hot chilli powder
1 tbsp paprika
1½ tsp ground coriander
4 (approx. 60g) small iceberg lettuce leaves, shredded
8 corn taco shells
1 ripe avocado, fi nely chopped
2 ripe small tomatoes, finely chopped

How to make Spicy Beef Tacos

  • Heat the oil in a large non stick frying pan over a high heat, crumble the meat into the pan and add the onions and peppers and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in the HP Guinness sauce, garlic, canned tomatoes, stock cube, chilli powder, paprika, coriander and 200ml water.
  • Gently boil for 10 - 12 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Place some lettuce in the bottom of each taco shell, then fill each with mince and top with avocado and tomato.
  • Serve immediately.

Tip:

  • Alternatively serve the spicy beef with cooked rice rather than in taco shells.

Serves 4 - makes 8 Tacos
