This recipe is from a new source - Chez Fred alias Frederic Durand. Fred, like me is a keen amateur who loves to cook and we have agreed to exchange some of our recipes. The recipes I will concentrate on from Chez Fred are his French ones but there are recipes from all over the world which he is adding to all the time.

Ingredients

750 g. of cherries
3 Eggs
6 Tablespoons of Flour
150 g. of Caster Sugar
3/4 of a liter of Milk
40 g. of Butter
1 Pinch of Salt

Method
  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200° C.
  2. Put the cherries, without the hard bit inside, at the bottom of an oven dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix the battered eggs with the flour, the sugar, the milk and the salt.
  4. Put the mix over the cherries.
  5. Spread bits of butter.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool down.
  8. Serve and enjoy.

Fred's advice:
Put butter on the inside of the oven dish.

Beware not to fill the oven dish too much as the mix tends to grow during the baking and might overflow.
