Recipe for :

Hub Chilli Mushrooms
This is a Hub-UK recipe. This side dish has been created as a result of the motivation provided by the arrival of Crazychef with his love of chillies! Try it with a nice lamb escalope and you won't be disappointed.


250gms brown cap mushrooms (your choice) quartered
I medium courgette sliced thinly
5 crushed sloves of garlic
1 tsp Herbes de Provence (or of your choice)
1 small red chilli finely chopped
Black pepper
Sea salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Knob (2oz) butter


  1. Add olive oil and butter to pan and melt butter.

  2. Add crushed or finely chopped garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes on low heat.

  3. Add thinly sliced courgettes,diced chilli and Herbes de Provence. Sauté for a further two minutes.

  4. Add mushrooms and black pepper and sea salt to season. Sauté until mushrooms and courgettes are done.

  5. Serve immediately.
