Recipe for :

Sautéed Shrimp with Lemon and Garlic
This is one of the recipes that has been provided by Shirley Cline from San Fransisco.


1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil (can use regular)
2 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed
24 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/4 cup dry white wine (I use Chablis)
Freshly squeezed juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley (Italian or regular)


In large skillet, heat oil over high heat. Add garlic and shrimp, cook, tossing occasionally just until they turn pink and are lightly browned, about 3 minutes. Add wine, lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Cook, stirring 1 minute more.   Add the parsley, toss and serve immediately.
