Hub End of Summer Compote
This is a Hub-UK recipe. When you love to cook you just have to create your own recipes! My wife created this light and refreshing Summer dessert.


1 1/2 lbs fruit - raspberries, redcurrants, blueberries
10 oz sugar
1 tbspn water
2 tbspn Gin
Whipped Cream


  1. Put the fruit, sugar and water into a saucepan and shake gently over the heat until sugar has dissolved.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the gin.
  3. Place in dish in fridge to cool for 3 hours.
  4. Serve with whipped cream.
