Recipe for :

Clam Casserole
This is one of the recipes that has been provided by Shirley Cline from San Fransisco.


1 (8 oz.) package fettuccine noodles
1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
2 Tblsp. butter
2 Tblsp. chopped onion
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 (7 oz.) cans chopped clams, drained
Pinch of thyme
1 pint sour cream
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. curry powder (optional)
1/2 cup white wine
Pinch of salt
3 - 4 oz. grated cheddar cheese


Cook noodles according to directions. Drain and rinse. Saute mushrooms and onions in butter. Combine all ingredients except noodles and cheese. Place half of the noodles in buttered casserole dish. Add all of the clam mixture. Top with the remaining noodles.

Bake for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with cheddar cheese and bake another 5 minutes until cheese is bubbly and hot.
