Crazychef says "This is an extremely nice chicken dish that you can add any other herb of your choice to".


1 onion chopped
2 oz butter
1 4 - 5lb chicken cut up into 8 pieces
1/2 pint chicken stock
2 - 3 tablespns dijon mustard
2 tablespns chopped dill
Seasoned flour

  • Melt the butter and add the onion, cook till pale golden
  • Toss the jointed chicken in the seasoned flour and add to onion
  • Turn the chicken over and cook evenly till golden on all sides
  • Heat the chicken stock up and add to the chicken
  • Stir in mustard and season with salt and pepper
  • Simmer chicken for futhur 30-40 mins till fully cooked
  • Lift out the chicken and place in serving dish
  • To liquid add the dill, stir and pour over chicken

Serve immediately with new potatoes and snap peas
