pears, approx 500 g (1 lb) in all
1 1/2 dl (2/3 cup) whipping cream
2 tbs sugar
1 tbs molasses
1 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla sugar
1 1/2 tbs potato starch or cornstarch
2 1/2 dl (1 cup) milk
1 dl (good 1/3 cup) flaked almonds
core and split the pears. Boil them until almost tender
in some water - the time depends on how ripe they
cream, sugar, molasses and cocoa in a small saucepan
until it thickens, 5 - 8 minutes. Drain the pears
well and transfer them to an oven-proof dish. Pour
the sauce over the pears and sprinkle with cinnamon.
