to a request sent to me. It uses ripe mangoes
as the main ingredient and is served with steamed
Large onion, chopped
2 green cardamom
3 medium sized ripe Mangoes
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 flakes garlic
1" ginger, peeled and cut
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tsp of chili powder
salt to taste
2 tbsp fresh coconut grated or desiccated coconut
2 tbsp oil
oil, add cloves, cinnamon, pepper and cardamom
and fry till they crackle.
onion and sauté chopped onion until pink.
coconut, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, garlic
and ginger adding a tsp of water if required
to get a smooth paste.
the paste and chili powder to onion and sauté
till the oil floats on top.
in a cup of water and bring the curry to boil.
and cut mangoes into large pieces. Add the pieces
and lemon juice.
