Grand Marnier Chocolate Mousse

There is nothing quite like adding a top class liqueur to a recipe to transform it from being perhaps something rather drab into something exceptional. One such liqueur is the world famous Grand Marnier.

Ingredients for Grand Marnier Chocolate Mousse

5 oz semisweet dark chocolate
2 1/2 oz butter
1 egg yolk
3 egg whites
1 oz Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge liqueur

How to make Grand Marnier Chocolate Mousse

  • Melt the chocolate in a saucepan.
  • Take the pan off the heat, mix the butter and the egg yolk into melted chocolate.
  • Whip the egg whites.
  • Slowly fold in the Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge liqueur then the whipped egg whites.
  • Refrigerate before serving.
