Recipe for :

Cajun Shrimp Pasta

3/4 pkg angel hair pasta
3 tbs butter
1 small onion sliced
1 large red pepper, julienne
2 1/3 cups heavy cream
1/3 cup chopped green onions
10 oz shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 1/2 tbs.Cajun seasoning

  • In a large sauté pan, heat butter over medium heat until melted.
  • Sauté the red peppers and onions until tender, 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Stir in the Cajun seasoning and heavy cream. Cook until sauce is reduced by half.
  • Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook angel hair pasta until al dente. Drain and keep warm.
  • Add the green onion and shrimp to the cream mixture. Cook until shrimp are pink, about 4 minutes.
  • Serve over pasta.
