recipe comes from Mesón La Rioja, a Spanish
restaurant in Marbella which specialises in serving
authentic and popular Spanish cuisine. The restaurant
is owned and run by Elena and Luis Ochoa who have
kindly given permission for the recipe to be reproduced
1 kilo tomatos
3 roasted peppers
2 gloves garlic
and de-seed the tomatos.
fry the tomatoes and chopped onion and garlic.
Season with salt and add sugar to sweeten.
a separate saucepan sauté the tuna for
2 minutes and place in a serving dish.
in the tomato sauce and leave to cook for a
further 5 minutes.
the roasted peppers on top in trips and cook
for 10 minutes more.
