Salva Cheese with Tighe

500 gm of Salva cheese
200 gm of Tighe (thin and long green peppers preserved in vinegar)
Extra-virgin olive oil,
Freshly ground black pepper


  • Cut the cheese into small pieces and add the chopped Tighe.
  • Mix together and put in the fridge for 3 - 4 hours.
  • Before serving season the cheese with a little olive oil and black pepper.


This easy recipe with Salva is a savoury dish which is ideal as a starter accompained by a couple of salame slices. The recipe also makes a god conclusion to a rich meal.
