specialises in shellfish and seafood recipes as
well as the famous Maryland Stuffed Ham recipes.
tablespoons onion, chopped
2 tablespoons green peppers, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/8 cup pimentos, diced
1 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp peeled & deveined
1/2 cup buttered breadcrumbs
the oven to 400ºF.
saucepan sauté onions, green peppers, and celery
in butter until vegetables are soft but not
in flour, mustard, salt, and milk. Cook over
medium heat stirring constantly until sauce
Worcestershire sauce, pimento, and shrimp to
saucepan; simmering until thoroughly heated.
shrimp mixture into 4 ramekins; top with breadcrumbs.
Bake for 15 minutes or until browned and bubbly.
Remove from oven and serve hot.
