Khao Phad Pla Mueck - Fried Rice with Squid

400 gms Jasmine Rice, Steamed
200 gms Squid, Sliced
3 tbs Cooking Oil
5 pcs Eggs
4 pcs Garlic Cloves, Chopped
3 tbs Fish Sauce
10 gms White Pepper Powder
1 tbs Sugar
4 pcs Spring Onions
2 pcs Limes, Cut in Half
1 pcs Small Cucumber, Sliced
2 pcs Tomatoes, Sliced


  • Heat the oil in a wok, add squid and stir fry until done. Remove from wok.
  • Pour the eggs into the remaining oil and stir until cooked.
  • Add rice, garlic and cooked squid while stirring continuously and frying.
  • Season with fish sauce, pepper powder and sugar.
  • Serve and decorate with spring onions, lime, cucumber and tomatoes.
