Recipe for :

Grilled Prawns

It is many years since Hub-UK was first launched. It has been created from recipes contributed form all over the world, from professionals and amateurs alike. A great many of the recipes do not have any details as to who sent them in or from where they came. It would be a shame not to share them with you for this reason alone.

2 lb large prawns
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 cup olive oil
1 tbsp oregano
4 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped garlic
4 x drops Tabasco
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 x pepper to taste


  • Combine all Ingredients in a glass dish. Marinade for two hours at room temperature.
  • Grill 3 - 4 inches from heat for 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Turn and grill for further 2 - 3 minutes.
  • Prawns can be served on a bed of rice with a green salad and Italian bread.

Serves: 4
