Ingredients for Coriander and Peppercorn Crusted Tuna

4 x 170g (6oz) tuna steaks
1.5 x 15ml spoon (one and a half tablespoons) mixed peppercorns
2 x 15ml spoon (2 tablespoons) coriander seeds
1 x 5ml spoon (1 teaspoon) olive oil

How to make Coriander and Peppercorn Crusted Tuna

  • Place the peppercorns and coriander seeds in a pestle and mortar and crush lightly.
  • Heat the griddle pan over a high heat.
  • Brush the tuna with the oil. Spoon the crushed seeds over the tuna steaks and press into the flesh lightly.
  • Griddle the tuna for 3 - 4 minutes on each side.
  • Serve with stir-fry noodles and vegetables.
