A light, fresh, fruity salad topped with exquisite
Iberian ham is a luxurious tapas dish. When lightly
cooked, the intense nutty flavours of the ham really
come into play like never before and combined with your
favourite fruit and salad ingredients you can create
your own gourmet Spanish treat.
Ingredients
for Iberian Ham with Orange and Avocado Salad
1 sweet orange, peeled and sliced
1 avocado stoned, peeled and sliced
Half cucumber, sliced
2 strawberries, sliced
Pine nuts, roughly chopped
Extra virgin olive oil
4 - 5 slices Iberian
bellota ham, cut into strips
How
to make Iberian Ham with Orange and Avocado
Salad
- Arrange
the salad ingredients on a large serving plate and
drizzle with olive oil.
- Heat
a little olive oil in a frying pan and lightly toast
the Iberian ham slices until they begin to go crispy
and curl at the edges.
- Arrange
the ham on top of the salad and add a sprinkle of
the pine nuts.
- Serve
as a tapas style salad with a chilled white Rioja
for any special treat.
