This recipe from Madrid incorporates some very basic
ingredients which, when mixed together result in some
lovely flavours. The use of garlic and hot paprika in
this Spanish pork recipe adds a fiery touch to succulent
thick pork chops and is a meal ideal at any time of
year.
Ingredients
for Madrid Pork Chops
6 pork chops (inch thick)
Tablespoon paprika
4 Garlic cloves (crushed)
2 Onions (diced)
6 Sprigs broadleaf parsley
Olive oil
Crushed black pepper
How
to make Madrid Pork Chops
- Mix
together the crushed garlic, onion and parsley.
- Season
with salt and crushed black peppercorns.
- Add
a good splash of olive oil and mix into a paste consistency
than add the paprika.
- Place
the chops onto a shallow baking tray and spoon over
the mixture coating all the meat thoroughly.
- Place
in the oven and cook for 30 - 35 minutes until chops
are done.
- Serve
with boiled or mashed potatoes or "patatas
bravas".
