Artichokes and Serrano ham are one of those combinations
that work so well that they have been presented as tapas
throughout most bars in Andalucia. Do not let the artichokes
put you off as they are on fact very easy to peel and
prepare. For this simple tapas recipe all you will need
is 6 artichokes and some diced Serrano ham with a lemon
and of course the trusty olive oil. Ideal authentic
tapas for the summer or as a starter.

to make Fried Artichokes with Serrano Ham
off the stems from the artichokes and remove the firmer

artichoke heart in half lengthways.
