for Honeyed Figs
(plus extra for greasing the baking tray)
8 tbsp honey
A dash of brandy
flaked almonds or pistachios to top (optional)
to make Honeyed Figs
the oven to 220°C / Gas mark 7.
the figs by cutting a deep cross into the top, then
gently squeezing to open like a flower. Place on
prepare the sauce by melting the butter in a pan
over medium heat with the honey and a dash of brandy
hot and starting to brown pour the sweet mixture
into your crossed figs.
