Sausages
and Burgers
Use
30 - 40gm of Designa Seasonings to each 1kg of sausage
or burger meat to make them stand out from the crowd.
These Designa Seasonings have been specially prepared
to take the stress out of trying to create the right
balance of herbs and spices. Less mistakes - more
success. Traditional sausage mixes from the UK include
Cumberland, Lincolnshire, Macclesfield, Sage Seasoning
and Welsh Leek Seasoning.
Widening
the horizons you can find seasonings from South African
Boerewors, Droewors; German Frikkadelle, Frankfurter
& Bratwurst; Spanish Chorizzo to French Toulouse,
Morrocan Merguez and Yugoslavian Cevapcici.

Liquid
Marinades
Combine
1 tablespoon of Designa Seasoning with 2 tablespoons
of water and 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil. Mix well.
Coat the meat, fish or vegetables in this tasty marinade
and place in the fridge a minimum of 2 hours - for
scrumptious juicy results. Try Tikka with Chicken
pieces or Pork Grill with some chunky Pork Chops.
Dry
Rubs
Lightly
coat your meat, fish or vegetables in Designa Seasonings
and allow to rest in the fridge for a minimum of 2
hours. When cooked, you can sink your teeth into a
delicious crispy flavoursome feast. Steak is superb
with Pepper Exotica. A meld of Green, Rose, White
and Black ground peppercorns. Not only does it give
flavour but the seasonings tenderise the meat at the
same time.

Roasts
Lightly
sprinkle some of the Designa Seasoning over the meat,
fish or vegetables before roasting for an added appetizing
dimension. The best ever Lamb Roast is coated with
Gyros Spice.
Casseroles
and Soups
Shake
a little Designa Seasoning into your winter warming
dish and savour the compliments. Garlic and Herb stirred
into Broccoli and Stilton soup makes a difference
beyond belief. Lemon Basil compliments fish pie with
a subtle delicate flavour.

Sauces
Fry one onion in a little oil until soft. Add 2 tablespoons
of Designa Seasoning and fry for another minute. Add
a can of chopped tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes
before serving. Drape over mashed potato, rice or
fish. Cajun is particularly good with this sauce and
gives Fajitas a spicy aromatic kick.
Dips
Mix
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, crème fraiche,
yoghurt or sour cream with 1 teaspoon of Designa Seasoning.
Serve with crisps, vegetable sticks or hot chips.
Mix Garden Mint with Yoghurt for a perfect Riaita
with curry or poppadums and American BBQ for crisps,
vegetables and hot chips.
Last
- but not least are the irresistible ROAST ONION
FLAKES.
Mix
into mashed potato, sprinkle into Yorkshire pudding
mix, spread onto cream cheese in sandwiches, toss
into Salads, add to sausage or burger meat or blend
into soups and casseroles. Never be without them in
