What
does it cost?
The
cost for UK subscribers is £35 and for USA subscribers
$52.50. (For all other countries you may pay in your own
currency at the rate of exchange prevailing at the time)
Do
I have to make any further payments?
No.
What
do I get for my money?
You
get a web page dedicated solely to the memory of your pet
which will be made up from the text and images you provide.
How
much text can I have on my page?
As
a rough guide you can have the equivalent of a type written
page of A4. We are quite happy to accept one or two lines
less or more. The text can be whatever you want.
How
many photographs can I have on my page?
You
can have no photographs or up to a maximum of six. The size
of the photographs on your page will be done in accordance
with those you see on other pages - so that they are tasteful
and can be seen. (Photographs use a lot of memory and slow
down the loading speed of pages so it is not possible to
display them full size - they will still look effective).
Who
decides on the size of the photos?
The
web designer will control the size of the photograph so
that your page looks good, loads quickly and is a fitting
memorial to your pet.
Can
I have more than one page?
Yes.
We are quite happy for you to have as many pages as you
would like. Each one will cost the same amount and you may
have the same amount of text and photographs on each - each
page will be linked so that you can easily move from one
page to another.
What
sort of photogrpahs?
You
can send us any photographs. You can also send us drawings
or illustrations. The key thing to remember is that we have
to scan the images so thy do not want to be too big and
the better the quality the better result we can produce.
Why
can't I pay online?
There are several reasons.
- A
lot of people are still reluctant to provide credit card
details online, especially as often it means you have
no way of knowing where your payment has gone - a cheque
or money order is more tangible.
- If
we took online payments it would mean sending your photos
by email - a lot of people do not have the facility to
scan their photos so would have to post them anyway.
- To
handle any volume of emails with up to six photos attached
would clog the email system unless a lot of money was
invested in high speed equipment and high speed internet
access.
