"Not
only is St Emilion a really lovely area, but the Week
and Break deal was great - [the Week end Break team]
was so extremely helpful with the planning to make
sure we had thought through all options and chosen
the right ones, and the arrangements were perfect.
The
hotel (Franc Mayne) was to die for - opulent and splendid,
and we felt like we lived there - the free-rein we
were given to enjoy it all was great.
The
wine of course is lovely, and the cycling around the
vineyards was the perfect way to enjoy it. We came
back totally relaxed!

WeekEnd Break is owned by the French company Vini Spiritus
which is a based near Bordeaux and dedicated to creating
luxury weekends, luxury golf stays and play packages,
spa weekends and luxury wine tours in Bordeaux and the
surrounding area.
The
creative force behind Vini Spiritus is Olivier Le Brun
who is himself a wine lover and a member of the 'Cercle
Oenophile de l'Ouest' (a private luxury wine club).
Educated
in both the United Kingdom and France, Olivier graduated
from major management and marketing school in France,
l'ESCEM and from Leicester University. From offices
in France and Ireland, he has worked throughout Europe
in several multi-national companies in the telecommunication
and airspace industries. This background has helped
him to appreciate even more the richness of the French
vineyards (especially in the Bordeaux area) and the
opportunities the aera provides for organizing convenient
and appealing tours.
Three
friends - experts in the fields of online marketing,
business intelligence and historic patrimony management
- joined him to create luxury weekend offers and package
weekend breaks.
This
team combined their talents to meet the increasing demands
of people from all over Europe for wine and theme-based
tourism. The main objective of Vini Spiritus is to create
luxury stays, luxury weekend breaks, golf and play packages,
France weekends, and wine tours of Bordeaux. Some of
the vacation packages are their own design whilst others
are tailored for specific customers (couples and groups).
All the packages draw on the richness of the French
culture, sport, art, cuisine and, of course, wine.
Nearly
sixty partners, from hotels to restaurants, vine growers
to estate landlords, thalassotherapy centres to prestigious
golf courses were immediately attracted by the Vini
Spiritus program.
